Maeklong Station

The terminal station on the south side of Maeklong line.
The station is located on the east bank of Maeklong River. One of famous tourist destinations in Thailand. It is very crowded with tourists who take pictures every time the train arrives and departs.
Station Facility
Ticket office, benches, free toilet. There are shops for tourists which sell beverages and food on the left side of the platform.
Platform
The station is on ground with one low-floor platform and two railway line. The station has a roof covered the entire platform. Retail stores and dining rooms are available.
Railway Market
The Market is open on both sides of the railroad tracks in front of the station, and are crowded with residents shopping and tourists watching. Most of the products handled are fresh food, not for tourists.
Transit Information
The west side of the station has a boat pier. However, there is no railway on the opposite bank. The city has a bus terminal within walking distance from the station. It has many buses to Bangkok city area.
